Gotham-"Selina Kyle" 105

Open with Bruce trying to burn himself to overcome fear. Alfred comes in and finds out. In downtown Gotham a couple of kids end up falling for some bait by people who are working for The Doll Maker. Cat (Selina) sees everything but flees to stay safe. James Gordon is on the case and Cat sees him as help. One of the kids who escaped (while jumping into a window) tells police that kids have been disappearing for a while, the cops are just now noticing. Gordon and his "lovely" partner Harvey Bullock have a good cop bad cop moment. Such a great team those two!

Then we see a stranded Penguin (Oswald) getting a ride from two jerks. Oswald tells them he's going to come back to Gotham stronger than ever, which makes them laugh. Penguin kills the jerks and takes their truck. Back at the station Captain and our favorite team talk about the case. Edward (Before Riddler) comes with good news. ATP is the drug used to knock out the kids. Captain praises him. In Fish's club Falcone pays a visit. They have a fun toast, talk about Oswald, and how the Wayne murder brings more troubled times than usual. Falcone knows about Fish being a threat to him, she denies it.

Gotham's MCU unit visit Penguin's mom to discuss his disappearance. Fish realizes she needs more time and supplies to take Falcone out. Oswald finds a place to stay. The knocked out kids wake up in an unknown place. The team goes to see Fish ands inquires about the missing kids case. She replies, "No one cares to know.". Barbara and James talk about the case having no publicity. Which gives her the great idea to anonymously leave a tip. Press goes crazy over it.

The "kid snatchers"  have a chat with their ATP supplier. He is pissed and asks for more money. They say The Doll Maker doesn't work like that just as Gordon and Bullock show up. Which ends in a shootout followed buy the supplier man being taken to jail while the sickos escape. The supplier man gives intel and finds the missing kids from the beginning. Gotham's Mayor helps the kids in front of the press. Gordon asks him the truth, he replies the kids are going to foster homes. The other ones are going upstate/jail. Alfred pays James a visit asking for help with Bruce.

Selina and lots of other kids get onto a bus upstate. The sickos come also and once again the Mayor is mad. Bullock gets more info from the supplier man. As the kids are getting off the bus the sickos realize they are one kid short. (Hint-Selina!!!) Cat sneaks out of the bus. The cops find a clue-a trident logo on the truck. Gordon saves Selina and the kids.

When James goes over for afternoon tea Alfred tells him he has to raise Bruce with trust and that he needs help. Bruce eavesdrops and says he's fine but Gordon knows his burnt hand is saying differently. He wants to help the kids by giving them clothes. In the station Cat wants to talk to Gordon. She doesn't wanna go upstate. We then see Penguin basically being evil and continuing his mischief. Selina and James chat about her survival skills and "the boy". She will tell Gordon who killed Bruce's parents if he promises not to send her to jail. Until next week folks, see you later!

Red Band Society-"Soul Searching" 104

Open to Leo and Dash playing golf. Leo is worried about Jordi's upcoming leg surgery. While Jordi is getting surgery prepped, Doc tells him to pick a happy memory to ease the surgery. He thinks of Emma. Meanwhile, Emma is worried about a weight test so she rigs it by adding weight to herself. The results come and she "gained" a pound to get good results. Kara being herself goes and calls Emma out on it.

Jordi finally enters surgery and while under he sees Charlie. He suddenly starts feeling dizzy and back in reality Doc finds out that Jordi's cancer has spread. Therefore he can't remove his leg. Kara has two moms who are very ambitious and will do anything to get what they want. Much like Kara. Britney tells Nurse Jackson (aka NJ) about Emma's good results but realizes in the process that they were false. Jordi finishes surgery. Doc tells Leo that Jordi gets to keep his leg but leaves out the part about his cancer spreading.

Britney confides in Doc. Kara is strangely quiet around her moms while they talk about getting promotion ideas for Kara's heart. #Heart&Soul everybody! Jordi wakes up as Leo leaves the hospital with Dash to a party across the street. Doc tells NJ about Jordi's surgery and how he's alone and has no family. Leo and Dash arrive at the crazy party. Emma chats with Kara's moms and tells that yes promotion for Kara's heart is great, what she really needs is somebody to listen to her.

Back at the party Dash tells Leo that NJ is looking for them and they gotta head back. Leo acts mean and blows Dash off which causes him to leave. Kara's moms apologize to her. Dash comes back to the hospital and Britney finds him. Kara confronts Emma and they argue, bond, and then argue again as Kara leaves. The party across the street is going well until Leo stops a girl from making out with him and breaks down. Jordi wants to see Leo and Doc finally tells him about his cancer spreading.

Dash and Britney find Leo and Britney covers for them. Kara listens to her step-mom (the mom she doesn't like due the fact she used to babysit her) and they bond and hug! Rough day for Doc so he visits a bar and meets a woman. Leo talks to NJ about feeling alone in the sense that he only has one leg. She understands and is nice. Leo finally visits Jordi and the episode ends with them talking. Very nice episode I think! See ya soon.

Agents Of SHIELD Pilot 103

Hydra and SHIELD!
So I know this is really late but rehearsals have been long and now I finally get to write. I enjoyed how the pilot started off a with a recap, for any new viewers that was very convenient. Flashback to the 1950's and we see Hydra finding a special artifact. Followed by Peggy (Yay!!) and The Howling Commandos capture both of them and celebrate victory.

Back to the present where Skye and the team are on a mission. Shots fired and a "bulletproof" man escapes. The media including General Talbot is trying to convince the world SHIELD and Hydra have fallen. Also we have new agents in the team. Director Coulson (That sounds so cool to say.) and May talk about SSR. Even though we sorta already knew the "bulletproof" guy is in fact Hydra. Skye and May worry about Fitz and Simmons. Fitz has brain damage. The new agents talk with the director about their latest mission. Tripplet and Skye bond over the mysterious wall carvings from last season.

Director Coulson wants Skye to do a mission. Which leads me to...... *dramatic pause* "Aren't you a sight for sore eyes?" The mission is seeing Ward!!!!!! And oh gosh does he look terrible. Turns out Skye needs Hydra intel from him about the "bulletproof" man aka Carl Creel. Which he gives but tries being nice and she leaves just before Ward can tell Skye about her father. The director helps General Talbot. His U.S. government team is holding the "bulletproof" man. Somehow (meaning the team) the general gets captured and is forced to tell Coulson.

Fitz is thinking he has been sidelined by the new agents. Simmons helps him realize that he just needs time. The team go on the mission. All or nothing type attitude going around. As soon as they get in the "bulletproof" man soon escapes from Talbot's security and goes into hiding. One of the new agents, Hartly finds the 084 artifact (from the flashback) but is stuck to it and is spreading across her body rapidly.

My TV connection sucks I lost connection with only ten minutes left in the show so I had to watch the last ten minutes after it had already aired! Anyway I watched the rest the next morning. Director Coulson tells the team to continue on, they see jets! The new agents including Hartly and the 084 artifact leave. Hartly cuts off her arm. Carl crashes into the new agents car and they die except one. He leaves with the artifact.

The hugest shocker for me was this- Simmons left shortly after the incident. Every time we see her Fitz is actually talking to himself. :(  Very heartbreaking indeed! Hopefully she will come back! She has too. Dr.Whitehall is still working with Hydra. He is the man from the Hydra flashback. Bye, see you next post!

Red Band Society Pilot (Reposted) 102

So last night I was on YouTube and saw the commercial for Red Band Society, advertising works! Who knew? Anyway onto my view point of  the RBS pilot. First off, I loved how Charlie our narrator is actually a coma patient. Also i'm going to have to see if pizza really does help comas, I have a feeling it could work! Plus I have a couple theories about the dad/volunteer dude and Charlie's accident so hopefully we learn more about that soon.

Kara the cheerleader definitely has layers of skin to be removed. Drugs, smoking, and alcohol equals your typical "cray-cray" teenager. The girl who has no heart finally needs one to survive, very touching indeed. Making Kara realize she actually has to care about people other than herself. Her relationship with Nurse Jackson (Octavia Spencer!) is very humorous  as well especially when she does her specific lunch order.

Jordi. Hmm very brave having the "balls" to find Dr. McAndrew with the cancer in his right leg and all. Leo and Emma have interesting history but stopped to due too much stress. Considering the touching dance moment near the end I suspect some Jordi and Emma love in the future. Honestly Emma is my favorite character right now, I love her humor! Jordi: "Your seriously twisted." Emma: "Not everyone appreciates it." Some inspiring words from Ruben and the leg goodbye party is on. Dash using Twilight as a pick up line on Nurse Dobler that was awkwardly hilarious especially because she has a boyfriend and a dog to get back to. And who could forget buying beer in Spanish! Later on, I love how Reuben, the doc, and Nurse Jackson converse about the roof party. Charlie's father finding out "none of this was your part" from Kara was cool.

The title Red Band Society is very sweet, each red bracelet represents different times Leo was in the hospital. My favorite line of the whole of the episode is *drum roll*  "Your body isn't you. Your soul is you and they can never cut into your soul." which was Leo comforting Jordi about his upcoming leg surgery. Next week's preview showed what looked like a lot of mini clips from future episodes. No real spoilers on next Wednesday's episode but i'm still looking forward to next week's Red Band Society. Check out their twitter page and see all the hype! Til' next week, later!

Gotham Pilot (Reposted) 101

Hello everybody! Tonight was pretty epic. Gotham's first episode premiered and I loved it! Sadly because my local TV station sucks I missed the first couple minutes! Anyway when the show finally came on it was like- BAM! Bruce's (Young Batman is cute, right?) parents are dead which is something everybody has seen but we get to see the aftermath. Which includes Selina Kyle AKA Cat-woman witnessing Thomas and Martha Wayne 's death. Then we see Gotham's police station which like the city itself is very dark. Enter rookie James Gordon who ends up taking down a psycho while all the other fellow cops watch.

Gordon's corrupt partner Harvey Bullock congratulates him by taking him down to the Wayne's crime scene. There, Bruce meets James and they bond over their parents, then Alfred (who seems colder then Micheal Caine's version) comes to somewhat comfort Bruce. Bullock asks for another partner but Captain Essen says Gordon is a war hero and declines. James ignores Harvey's attempt to get him to transfer to a different station. "This is where the action is, you'll get used to me."  As you can see they are off to a great relationship.

Cut to loud soundtrack while taking down thugs. We get a call from Edward Nigma (AKA The Riddler before craziness happened) who is currently working in the department. Harvey remarks about how Edward is in need of professional help, how ironic! Finally we meet Fish Mooney and can I just say- I love her red tips. Adds to the whole controlling attitude very well. Who else loved Oswald Cobblepot as her assistant? I mean now that I'm thinking about it nobody besides the Penguin would be perfect for a job like that. His resume'=Umbrella holder. Harvey and Fish have a past you could say. James is on edge. Later Barbara (James's fiance) helps him out. Bullock finds out Mario Pepper is a suspect for the Wayne case. And guess who his daughter is?!?! Ivy! Young Ivy Pepper everybody. Obviously Mario is reluctant and ends up in a shootout with Gordon. Which eventually ends up in a chase that leads to Bullock shooting Mario Pepper.

Back at the station Gordon is getting bandaged up when they find Mrs.Wayne's pearl necklace. Everybody in the station is overjoyed. Penguin sees the papers that Pepper was shot. Then he get's into MCU's car. He tells Renee and her partner that Fish framed Mooney not too long after meeting Gordon and Bullock. Later, we see Bruce at his parents funeral as well as Selina watching him from a distance all cat-like. Renee from MCU goes to visit Barbara to tell her James might be hiding something and that she is better off without him. When Barbara disagrees, Renee reminds her of her secrets. She then confronts James he goes to confront Renee. Who tells him Mr.Pepper was framed. Gordon speaks with Mrs.Pepper to find evidence.

We learn that Mooney is working for a man named Falcone. Bullock tells him to back off Fish. But Gordon goes anyway, where he gets knocked out. A worried Barbara goes to see Harvey. He then finds Gordon being held by Mooney's guys and threatens Fish. Penguin deception is discovered and Fish fights him and kicks him out. When Harvey and James are about to be killed, Falcone shoots Mooney's guys. Turns out he has the "no killing police" rule. Gordon knows Falcone has connections. "You can't have organized crime without order."

A little while later James and Harvey drive to the docks where a beat-up Penguin is in the trunk. Bullock tells Harvey that he has to take the snitch out. James walks Oswald to the end of the docks, pretends to shoot him then pushes him in the ocean still breathing. James then goes to Wayne Manner. Bruce is on the roof conquering his fears. Gordon informs him that Pepper was framed by the police and the mob but asks for another chance to find the killer. Bruce accepts. As Harvey leaves we see Selina once again looking over Wayne Manner. Penguin leaps out of the water alive who then proceeds to start going crazy.

Next Monday's episode we see Penguin leaves Gotham to prepare for a fight, Bruce still conquering his fears, and Mooney continues to be a threat. I am looking forward to it. Hope you liked my recap/review of Gotham's pilot!

Introduction To Reviewing 100

Hi everybody! I previously was blogging on my dad's website Theo's Blog but now I have my own, which makes it easier to write about the TV shows I love! The shows I write about are currently going on some of which include Red Band Society, Gotham, Agents Of SHIELD, Goldbergs, and Once Upon A Time. Also I will write reviews about The Walking Dead when it comes back too. I try to write notes about the TV show the day it airs then I usually will have my review ready to post that next day but if I do not then it is probably high school stuff. I will make time to post, pirates honor. Anyway have fun and always remember that if you are sad you can have all the chocolate you want because it is the Dementors fault. See you soon!
